Questions

Where does my Box's data live?

In your Box's data/ folder on the machine that runs it. The warehouse, chat history, uploads and backups all stay there. Only what you choose to publish, such as this help site or a public artifact, leaves the Box.

Which AI agents can work in a Box?

bun setup detects local Codex and Claude profiles and lets you pick which to use. Agents work through the Box's own tools, and an administrator decides which toolsets each agent may use in Settings > Agent tools.

How do I get updates from the Stack?

Ask your agent to upgrade core (the upgrade skill) or to bring an adapted recipe up to date. It compares the recorded Stack revision with the new one and merges the changes into your Box without losing your local work, then runs box verify.
